āļøHow to setup
Here are some instructions on how to set some things up in Kyle.
Please read our terms and conditions and privacy policy before you set up your bumping system and start bumping! Thank you!
How to setup Bumping?
Here's a full guide on how to set up Kyle's bumping system correctly!
Step #1:
Invite Kyle from invite command, you can choose if you want classic invite ( only message permissions ) or if you want administration invite that will invite the bot with administation perms its only your choice, but i can recommend you that classic is better.
ā¢ Invite kyle from: ABOUT
Step #2:
Use: k?channel or /channel to setup channel where adversitements will be sended. Example: #general - with slash it is easier.
IMPORTANT: If you set up a channel that can't be seen by at least 1/4 of the server - you will abuse the system and think you will advertise but no one will see it on your other servers, you are mistaken! The bump command will not work if 1/4 of the users cant see the channel.
Step #3:
Use: k?description or /description to set up your invite text example of use: k?description <your text> - Text that will be sended to the adversitement channels on all servers where bot is.
Step #4:
Last step, the most easiest one! Use: k?bump or /bump to bump your server! Also you can use k?preview to preview your invite text!
How to setup Tickets?
Here is a full guide on how to properly set up the ticket system, including additions such as ticket-settings and setting up roles that see the ticket.
Step #1:
Tickets are easy to set up, but you have to remember that tickets are still only an additional/side module with Kyle, so we don't really focus on it as a priority for new updates. ā¢ First go to the channel where you want to make the panel, whatever it is. ā¢ Next, type /create-panel and follow the instructions in the command, i.e. you need to set both the label ( what is displayed on the button ) and the button color, colors below: - PRIMARY: BLUE - SECONDARY: GRAY - DANGER: RED - SUCCESS: GREEN ā¢ And yes! You only need to set these two things and the rest is done for you ( i.e. the default panel settings )
Step #2: ( OPTIONAL )
I'm sure you read in step 1 that if you just do those two things the panel will look default, but you don't want that do you? So go through this tutorial if you want to have it your way. ā¢ Of course, you have several options you can set in your panel below is an explanation of these options:
Description: The description allows you to provide additional details or context for the ticket. It can be used to explain the issue, provide instructions, or add any relevant information.
Title: The title represents the main heading or subject of the ticket. It should briefly summarize the purpose or topic of the ticket.
Panel Color: The color option allows you to customize the appearance of the ticket panel. You can specify a hexadecimal color code or use predefined color names to match your desired theme or branding.
Footer Avatar: The footer avatar option determines whether an avatar image is displayed in the footer section of the ticket panel. You can set it to "true" to show an avatar or "false" to hide it.
Thumbnail: The thumbnail option enables you to include a small thumbnail image in the ticket panel. It can be used to provide a visual representation related to the ticket's content or purpose.
Image: The image option allows you to insert a larger image within the ticket panel. This can be useful for attaching screenshots, illustrations, or any visual content relevant to the ticket.
Timestamp: The timestamp option determines whether a timestamp is displayed in the ticket panel. It shows the date and time when the ticket was created or updated. - true or false option.
Footer: The footer represents the bottom section of the ticket panel. It can contain additional information such as the bot's name, version, contact details, or any other relevant text you wish to include.
